Gun Free Zones

Gun free zones are the stupidest zones I have ever heard of. Drug free zones at least make sense because a person will have tougher penalties if they are caught in the zone with illegal drugs. What is a gun free zone? It means LAW ABIDING citizens cannot carry their LEGAL guns in the zone. The only people allowed to carry guns in gun free zones are law enforcement officers. 

Now let's put the average crazy and demented person into perspective. Let's say this person wants to kill innocent people using a firearm. Do you think they would go to a gun free zone like a school, or a police station full of ARMED officers? Well, the media tells us that these people choose gun free zones like schools and movie theaters. Therefore, gun free zones are targets! Fort Hood is a gun free zone. Two people in the last five years, killed many people on that military installation because they knew they wouldn't be met with equal resistance. They finally met resistance when they encountered a law enforcement officer. But let's remember, law enforcement officers are responders, they respond to things that already happened. 

Let's wake up once again America. Stop being a victim! Gun free zones are targets plain and simple. If an individual can carry a gun legally, he or she should be able to carry it where ever they please. I encourage all gun owners to protest places or businesses that are gun free zones. We don't pick and choose when we honor the first amendment, let's not pick and choose when we honor the second. 

"Assault Weapons"

As most of you know "Assault Weapons" have found their way into mass media. Many people believe the media and agree with the term assault weapon. I consider myself a firearm kind of guy, and by no means am I a firearms connoisseur. However I'm going to give you all my two cents on the left wing media.

I'm going to talk about a firearm that the mass media likes to classify as an assault weapon, the AR-15. The AR-15 is a modern rifle that has various uses such as competition shooting, hunting, recreation, home defense and even law enforcement purposes. This firearm can have a magazine capacity of 10, 20, 30, 50, or any capacity a manufacture decides to make for it. The only model civilians are allowed to own within reason, is the semi-automatic version which means only one round can be fired per trigger pull. I'm not trying to focus much on the gun in particular, my focus is on mass media and left wing idiots. 

Some uses an object to inflict bodily harm or physical damage it is a weapon as defined above. If someone makes a physical attack on some one it is called an assault whether or not a firearm or weapon was used. So yes, someone uses a tool or item to attack and cause physical harm or damage to another person, that tool should be called an assault weapon. But by default the left wing and news media calls the AR-15 an assault weapon. If the AR-15 is not used in an attack or used to cause harm or damage it should merely be called a modern sporting rifle. 

Last week in Western Pennsylvania a young man stabbed and sliced a hand full of students in a school, but why didn't the media classify that knife as an assault weapon? Why because pretty much any object known to man would be an assault weapon. If you use a fork to attack and cause harm to a person it should be called an assault weapon. 

People hurt people, not firearms. Firearms are not, by default, weapons.

I'm going to leave you all with one thing.  A stabbing happens, blame the stabber. A drunk driver kills a pedestrian, blame the driver. A bombing happens, blame the bomber. A shooting happens, blame the gun?

WAKE UP AMERICA!!!
