...Against all enemies, foreign and domestic...

We live in a time where warfare is no longer warfare. Since 2003 the United States as been at war with an enemy with no uniform or colors to represent them. That is a cowardly way to fight. Ever since the revolutionary war, Americans charged forth with our colors to the beat of drums and the sweet sound of a bugle. Centuries later the U.S. found themselves involved in World War Two. What ended that war with Japan was the Japanese Instrument of  Surrender that was signed on the deck of the USS Missouri on September 2nd, 1945. Since then warfare has changed drastically.

Many people compared the September 11th attacks as a modern day Pearl Harbor, but there is a huge difference. Pearl Harbor was an attack on the United States military as a declaration of war. The Japanese empire was expanding uncontrollably and they made the biggest mistake of moving eastward. Japanese airplanes took off of aircraft carriers miles off shore of the Hawaiian island of Oahu with the intent of destroying strategic military targets. They bombed navy ships and well as army air corps airfields throughout the harbor area. The few men that survived the attack started to fight back. September 11th was a premeditated attack on the civilians of the United States, not on military targets but innocent civilians who have to power what so ever to wage war. Those people who died on September 11th could not fight back.

The people responsible for September 11th are cowards and are scared to fight. If they want a fair fight, declare war on this nation and proudly represent your colors. As a member of the military, I signed a contract saying that I will support and defend the constitution of the United States against all enemies foreign and domestic. I signed that contract because I am WILLING to die for this nation and what it stands for. This is for all the terrorist out there, if you want to kill people, kill me because I will fight back. Don't kill innocent people who can't fight back. September 11th shows that terrorist have nothing. They are the lowest form of life on this Earth. Osama Bin Laden put a woman if front of him as a human shield, a FDNY first responder said, "That just shows the kind of person he was". I couldn't agree more with that statement. The moral of the story is, if terrorist want to wage war on Americans, wage war on Americans that can fight back.
